Born in Damascus and based in France since 2018, Burhan is a composer, oud player, and singer. In recent years, he has performed at festivals and venues across Europe, Asia, and the Arab world. A former musicology student at Grenoble Alpes University, he is pursuing a master’s in Music Applied to Visual Arts (MAAAV) at Lyon Lumière 2 University. He composes for film, theater, choreography, and installations, combining traditional roots with contemporary tools to create distinctive soundscapes. Always seeking new creative paths, he bridges cultural boundaries through his music.
